Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant to join a collaborative surgical team. You will work alongside skilled surgeons throughout the perioperative process, providing advanced technical assistance across procedures.
The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and adherence to Mercy Service Standards, with a 40-hour work week scheduled in daytime shifts. Prior OR experience is preferred and CST certification is a plus.

Will perform all duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of the Mercy Health Care System. Provides proper exposure and visibility of the surgical field. Clamps, ties, sutures, or coagulates as directed in the surgical field. Utilizes and applies knowledge of surgical procedure and in anatomy and physiology. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
