Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Checks sterile condition of OR suite and sterile equipment and supplies.
• Prepares sterile setup for operation and organizes instruments and supplies.
• Passes instruments, sponges, and sutures to surgeon maintaining sterile field.
• Assists with sponging and suction at the operative site and retractors.
• Assist in patient positioning, draping, and transport to recovery.
• Sterilizes instruments and equipment per CSR procedures; maintains room cleanliness.
• Attends mandatory trainings and maintains policy knowledge.
