Soliant is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 2+ years of OR experience to support surgical teams in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The contract role emphasizes aseptic technique, instrument handling, and close collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to ensure safe, efficient case flow.

Key duties include preparing sterile environments, setting up instruments, maintaining instrument counts, assisting with patient positioning, and restocking the OR.

Qualifications

• Current CST certification is required.
• Experience as an OR technician or similar surgical support role.
• Knowledge of perioperative safety, instrumentation, and sterile technique.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm in fast-paced, high-stress situations.
• Professional approach to patient care and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile environment using aseptic technique
• Set up sterile tables, instruments, and supplies
• Work with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia to ensure case flow
• Monitor and maintain instrument counts and sterile fields
• Anticipate team needs, provide instruments promptly
• Assist with patient positioning and draping
• Clean, disinfect, and restock instruments and OR after procedures
• Follow facility protocols and infection control guidelines
