Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to assist in the care of the surgical patient. You will manage instruments, supplies and equipment, assist the surgeon, and maintain the sterile field under supervision and guidance of nursing and management staff.

The role is full-time with a day shift (10 hours) and on-call rotations, offering a sign-on bonus up to $25,000 or student loan repayment up to $15,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED - required.
• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) - required; BLS - required.
• Experience in a Surgical Technician role or completion of a hands-on Surgical Tech training/course - required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care and presentation of the surgical patient.
• Handle instruments, supplies and equipment during the surgical procedure.
• Maintain sterile field and anticipate the needs of the surgeon.
