Aufgaben

• Prepares the operating room by ensuring instruments and supplies are ready for the procedure.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows Universal Precautions and aseptic technique.
• Anticipates surgeon needs and passes instruments accurately during procedures.
• Inspects, cleans, sterilizes, and inventories instruments and equipment per policy.
• Documents counts of sponges, needles and instruments with the circulating nurse.
• Assists with patient positioning, draping, and transfer under RN direction.
• Maintains physician preference cards and procedural documentation.
• Restocks supplies and ensures rooms are ready for subsequent cases.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
