Singing River Health System in Ocean Springs, MS is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) to support the surgeon with exposure, hemostasis, closure and intraoperative tasks, along with preoperative and postoperative care.

The CSFA must be certified, complete de-escalation training, and have at least 2 years of surgical tech experience; high school diploma; graduation from accredited program. This role requires physical stamina and strong communication within a team.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited Surgical First Assistant program.

Responsabilités

• Assist surgeon with exposure, hemostasis, and closure during operations.
• Perform preoperative and postoperative duties to facilitate patient care.
• Follow hospital policies and AST/accreditation standards.
