Job summary

Singing River Health System in Ocean Springs, MS seeks a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) to support the surgeon with exposure, hemostasis, and closure during operations, and to handle preoperative and postoperative duties.

The CSFA must complete accredited program, maintain NBSTSA/ABSA/NCCSA certification, BCLS, and de-escalation training, with at least two years of surgical technologist experience preferred. Work hours: 0630-1500, rotating with call.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as a surgical technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• The CSFA provides aid in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions for safe operations.
• They perform preoperative and postoperative duties to facilitate proper patient care.
• Duties performed in accordance with Singing River Health System procedures, policies, and governing guidance.
