Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 12 months of stable work experience; must pass weld and fitter tests.

Responsibilities

• Follow welding procedures (AWS, AISC).
• Weld in ground, above ground, and below ground positions.
• Chip, peen and grind material to prepare for welding or finish.
• Weld structural materials with tight tolerances.
• Straighten materials by heat or flame.
• Perform gouging and scarfing as needed.
• Must pass welding test per AWS D1.1.
