Gem City Nursing & Rehab is seeking an STNA (State Tested Nurse Assistant) to provide routine nursing care under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator, ensuring high-quality resident care at all times. Requirements include certification as an STNA and English language proficiency.

Previous experience with tracheostomy or ventilator care is preferred. The role involves assisting residents with hygiene, attending to calls, transporting residents

Qualifications

• Must have STNA certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Patient, caring and respectful in interactions with residents.
• Tracheostomy care or ventilator care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare residents for therapy, visits and activities.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Attend in-service educational programs and meetings as directed.
• Assist residents with proper hygiene and bathing.
• Follow infection control procedures and chart information each shift.
• Present professional image to consumers and protect resident rights.
