Job summary

The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) position at Health Care Management Grou supports residents in a healthcare or long-term care setting under the supervision of licensed nurses. You will help with daily activities, mobility, meals, and safety, while documenting care and monitoring patients’ wellbeing.

Ideal candidates hold an STNA certification and a high school diploma, with strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current and active STNA certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and documentation accurately.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility, turning, transferring, and ambulating with assistive devices.
• Assist with feeding and monitor nutrition and hydration.
• Observe and report changes to nursing staff.
• Document care in the facility's EHR or charts.
• Maintain resident safety and comfort; adhere to infection control and PPE.
• Provide emotional support and interact with residents.
• Transport residents to appointments or activities within the facility.
