Job summary

Greenbriar Care Community is seeking a dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide compassionate resident care in a long-term care setting. Under supervision of a licensed nurse, you will assist residents with ADLs, mobility, and feeding while promoting safety, dignity, and comfort.

You will document care in the EHR, monitor residents' conditions, and participate in care plan meetings. Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current and active STNA certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Experience in healthcare settings is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate devices.
• Provide meals and monitor nutrition and fluid intake.
• Record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Document care provided in the facility's EHR or paper charts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
