Montage Health in Monterey, California, is seeking an Instrument Technician to provide support services within the perioperative setting. The position is full-time with a pay range of $37.61 to $50.32 per hour based on experience, plus shift differentials for evening and night shifts.
Job Description:
Under the department leadership, the Instrument Technician is responsible to provide support services in the perioperative setting, including main OR, Short Stay Unit, and the PACU and all other hospital departments. Cleans, assembles equipment, sterilizes and disinfects supplies, instruments, and equipment according to established policies and procedures. Performs material management functions in relation to par levels. Accurately documents the sterilization process.
Previous experience in sterile processing or current certification in sterile processing required.
High school diploma, G.E.D. required. Completion of a sterile processing course or equivalent work experience in instrument processing required.
Certification from HSPA – CRCST or CBSPD – CSPDT required.
