Montage Health, a nonprofit healthcare system, seeks an Instrument Technician to support perioperative services including OR, Short Stay Unit, and PACU. Responsibilities include cleaning, assembling, sterilizing, and disinfecting instruments, and managing sterilization documentation.
Previous sterile processing experience is required, along with an accredited sterile processing course and CRCST or CSPDT certification.
Position Summary Under the department leadership, the Instrument Technician is responsible to provide support services in the perioperative setting, including main OR, Short Stay Unit, and the PACU and all other hospital departments. Cleans, assembles equipment, sterilizes and disinfects supplies, instruments, and equipment according to established policies and procedures. Performs material management functions in relation to par levels. Accurately documents the sterilization process.
Previous experience in sterile processing or current certification in sterile processing required.
High school diploma, G.E.D. required. Completion of a sterile processing course or equivalent work experience in instrument processing required.
Certification from HSPA – CRCST or CBSPD – CSPDT required.

Assigned Work Hours: Full Time Mon-Fri, 12pm-8:30pm, plus rotating varied weekend shifts

Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience): $37.61 to $50.32
The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid. Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $2.17 Hourly Night Shift Differential: $3.26
