Montage Health in Pacific Grove, CA, is seeking an Instrument Technician to support the perioperative setting, including the main OR, Short Stay Unit, and the PACU. You will clean, assemble, sterilize, and disinfect instruments and equipment according to established policies and procedures.
Preferred candidates have sterile processing experience or certification, a high school diploma or GED, and CRCST or CSPDT certification.
Position Summary Under the department leadership, the Instrument Technician is responsible to provide support services in the perioperative setting, including main OR, Short Stay Unit, and the PACU and all other hospital departments. Cleans, assembles equipment, sterilizes and disinfects supplies, instruments, and equipment according to established policies and procedures. Performs material management functions in relation to par levels. Accurately documents the sterilization process.
Previous experience in sterile processing or current certification in sterile processing required.
High school diploma, G.E.D. required. Completion of a sterile processing course or equivalent work experience in instrument processing required.
Certification from HSPA – CRCST or CBSPD – CSPDT required.
Full Time 10:00 pm to 06:30 am, M-F with rotating weekends
