Montage Health in Monterey, CA seeks an Instrument Technician to support perioperative services, including OR, Short Stay, and PACU. You will clean, assemble, sterilize, and disinfect instruments, and manage materials while accurately documenting sterilization processes.
The position requires prior sterile processing experience or certification, and a high school diploma or GED with completion of a sterile processing course.

Under the department leadership, the Instrument Technician is responsible to provide support services in the perioperative setting, including main OR, Short Stay Unit, and the PACU and all other hospital departments. Cleans, assembles equipment, sterilizes and disinfects supplies, instruments, and equipment according to established policies and procedures. Performs material management functions in relation to par levels. Accurately documents the sterilization process.
Previous experience in sterile processing or current certification in sterile processing required.
High school diploma, G.E.D. required. Completion of a sterile processing course or equivalent work experience in instrument processing required.
Certification from HSPA – CRCST or CBSPD – CSPDT required
