Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred 2 years of sterile processing experience or completion of a related program.
• Certifications such as CRCST, CSPDT or CFER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general and specialized instrument care duties.
• Provides supplies as needed for surgical procedures.
• Disassembles and cleans critical reusable medical equipment per MIFU.
• Inspects, packages, and reassembles instruments and trays per SOPs.
• Performs various sterilization techniques per MIFUs.
• Maintains record keeping and document control per SOPs and regs.
