Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department preferred.
• Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification required; CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT required.
• Ability to complete validation and competency testing; knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays; medical terminology knowledge.
• Maintains Sterile Processing Technician certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean, properly packaged, sterile instruments and supplies to meet customer needs.
• Support daily operations in the Sterile Processing Department.
• Schedule: 8am-4:30pm.
