Job summary

Novant Health's Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem operates a state-of-the-art Sterile Processing Department serving 17 operating rooms. The team handles instrument packaging, aseptic technique, and timely delivery of sterile supplies to surgical teams.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year hospital Sterile Processing experience if possible, and Sterile Processing Certification (CBSPD/CRCST/CSPDT) with ongoing competency testing and medical terminology knowledge.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Processing Department, preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: Sterile Processing Tech Certification, preferred. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays.
