Job summary

Vail Resorts in the mountains seeks certified ski or snowboard instructors for winter seasonal roles. Teach groups and individuals while delivering world-class guest service in a safe, fun learning environment.

Minimum PSIA/AASI Level 1 or ISIA equivalent is required, along with fluency in English and comfort with guests of all ages, including children 3+. Full-time and part-time positions exist with pay ranging from $21.00 to $64.34 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent.
• Fluent English communication is required.
• Comfort with teaching guests of all ages, including children 3 and older.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and meet scheduling requirements.

Job Specifications:

Starting Wage:$ 21.00/hr - $ 64.34/hr

Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more withadditionalteaching incentives

Employment Type:Winter Seasonal 2026/2027.

Shift Type:Full Time and Part Timehours available.For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.

Job Requirements:

MinimumPSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certificationorISIAequivalent and above

Must be able to communicate fluently in English

Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older

Must be willing to work weekends/holidaysand meet minimum scheduling requirements.

Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

The expected pay range is$ 21.00/hr - $ 64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
