Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring ski and snowboard instructors for the Winter Season in New Hampshire. Instructors deliver group and private lessons, ensuring a safe, fun learning environment for guests of all ages. This seasonal role offers part-time and full-time hours with housing availability.

Starting pay ranges from $21.00 to $64.34 per hour, with opportunities for higher earnings through teaching incentives. All employees receive passes and discounts as part of Mountain perks.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification (or ISIA equivalent) required.
• Fluency in English for communication with guests and teammates.
• Ability to work with guests of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private ski/snowboard lessons.
• Deliver world class guest service and create a safe, fun learning environment.
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities to improve skills.
• Support all ski school operations including equipment fitting and lifts.

Job Specifications

Starting Wage: $21.00/hr - $64.34/hr

Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more withadditionalteaching incentives

Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027.

Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available .For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.

Minimum Age: At least 16 years of age

Job Requirements

• MinimumPSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification orISIAequivalent and above


• Must be able to communicate fluently in English


• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older


• Must be willing to work weekends/holidaysand meet minimum scheduling requirements.


• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.


• The expected pay range is$21.00/hr - $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
