Job summary

Vail Resorts in Champion, Pennsylvania, is hiring Ski and Snowboard Instructors for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. Instructors provide quality lessons to guests of all ages in a safe and fun environment. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with starting wages ranging from $21.00/hr to $64.34/hr. Job Specifications

• Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may earn more with additional teaching incentives

Job Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons

• Support all ski‑school needs, including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders

Job Requirements

• Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above
• Fluent communication in English
• Willingness to work with guests of all ages and have comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements
• Background check clearance by the State of Pennsylvania (to be completed prior to start)
• Placement contingent on successfully completing training and meeting minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards
