Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring ski and snowboard instructors for the 2026/2027 winter season in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Positions are available full-time and part-time. Instructors will provide quality instruction and exceptional guest service to guests of all ages. Candidates must have a PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification or equivalent, communicate fluently in English, and be comfortable working with children aged 3 and older. Housing is available, and competitive compensation includes a starting wage of $21.00 to $64.34 per hour.

Job Summary

Job Specifications

• Starting wage: $21.00/hr - $64.34/hr
• Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more with additional teaching incentives
• Employment type: Winter seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift type: Full time and part time hours available. For full‑time instructors, a 40‑hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.
• Minimum age: At least 16 years of age

• Support all ski school needs including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, and fitting equipment
• Provide feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders

Job Requirements

• Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards
