Job summary

Kirkwood Mountain Resort, LLC is hiring Certified Ski/Snowboard Instructors for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. Instructors teach group and private lessons to guests of all ages in a safe, engaging environment and may work varying hours based on business volume.

Starting wage is $21.00/hr with opportunities for additional teaching incentives. Training and a strong guest-service mindset are required to ensure world-class guest experiences on the slopes.

Qualifications

• Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities.
• Deliver world class guest service to all guests
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all ski school needs inclusive of scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
• Other duties as assigned
