Job summary

PSIA-AASI Western Region seeks skilled ski and snowboard instructors for the winter seasonal program. You will deliver high-quality lessons to guests of all ages in a safe, engaging mountain learning environment.

Starting pay ranges from $21.00/hr to $64.34/hr, with opportunities to earn more through teaching incentives. Positions are Winter Seasonal 2026/2027, full-time and part-time; weekend and holiday work is required.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent required.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Experience teaching skiing or snowboarding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons to guests of all ages.
• Deliver world-class guest service in a safe, fun environment.
• Create a welcoming, educational learning space on the mountain.
• Support ski school operations including equipment and lifts as needed.
• Provide actionable guest feedback to inspire lifelong skiers and riders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructors will deliver quality ski/snowboard instruction to groups and individuals, providing world class guest service in a safe and fun environment. Full and Part Time positions available.

Job Specifications

Starting Wage: $21.00/hr – $64.34/hr Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more with additional teaching incentives

Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027.

Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available. For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.

Minimum Age: At least 16 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities.
• Deliver world class guest service to all guests
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all ski school needs inclusive of scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.
• The expected pay range is $21.00/hr – $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
