Job summary

Heavenly Mountain Resort in the Lake Tahoe area is seeking certified ski/snowboard instructors for winter seasonal roles. You will teach group and private lessons to guests of all ages in a safe, fun environment, delivering top-tier service and building lifelong skiers and riders.

Positions include full-time and part-time opportunities with a competitive hourly wage and access to employee passes, housing options, and professional development through the resort’s training programs.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI Level 1 or ISIA certification required.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays.

Job Summary

Job Specifications

Starting Wage:$ 21.00/hr – $ 64.34/hrPay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more with additional teaching incentives

Employment Type:Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

Shift Type:Full Time and Part Time hours available.For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.

Minimum Age:At least 16 years of age

• Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above

• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

The expected pay range is$ 21.00/hr – $ 64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
