Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking a Crane Operator to operate mobile cranes, assist with rigging, and coordinate with installation crews on heavy industrial construction sites. You will follow safety regulations, inspect equipment, and participate in lift planning while maintaining high standards of accuracy and reliability.

The role requires DOT physical, English fluency, and the ability to obtain crane certifications. Expect 12-hour shifts, outdoor conditions, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.
• DOT Physical current and up to date.
• Ability to obtain certification to operate project site mobile cranes.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English to understand load charts and write orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile crane and move materials safely and efficiently.
• Participate in lift planning and safety reviews.
• Inspect rigging and attachments per load chart and manufacturer guidelines.
• Calculate lifting capacities, deductions, and center of gravity.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Coordinate with installation crews for material movement.
• Complete daily safety checks and follow OSHA and project procedures.
