MasTec Industrial is seeking a Rigging Specialist to set up rigging for construction projects and manufacturing plants. You will read plans, inspect gear, and use hoists to position materials safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include using hand signals with operators, following coordinates, and selecting appropriate rigging equipment while ensuring equipment is inspected for wear or damage. The role requires precise, safety-conscious hands-on work.

  • Must have specific knowledge of rigging equipment and their capacities and uses.
  • Inspect all rigging equipment prior to use for wear, damage, or deterioration.
  • Attach slings, chokers, spreader bars, etc., to material to be moved.
  • Attach rigging and manually move materials, equipment, parts, or assemblies into position using hoists, chain falls, snatch blocks, or come alongs.
