Job summary

Joseph Michaels International in Rutland, Vermont, is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a collaborative Department of Anesthesiology serving as the exclusive anesthesia provider for a Trauma Center. This position operates under a supervision model with an Anesthesiologist always present, offering strong physician support and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Current CRNA certification.
• Eligible for Vermont RN and APRN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality anesthesia care under physician supervision.
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans.
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage hemodynamic stability.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia colleagues, and nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
