Job summary

Management Performance Associates seeks a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a trauma-center anesthesia service in Rutland, Vermont. The incumbent will work within a supervision model where an Anesthesiologist is always present to support the team.

The role includes preoperative assessments, general/ regional/ monitored anesthesia care, and postoperative pain management, with focus on patient safety and collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Current CRNA certification.
• Eligible for Vermont RN and APRN licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to function effectively within a team-based anesthesia care model.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality anesthesia care under physician supervision
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage hemodynamic stability
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia colleagues, and nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
