Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist to provide peer support, advocate for patients, and assist in navigating emergency, outpatient, or inpatient settings. You will model recovery and support patients in regaining control over their lives.

The role involves driving 50% of the time, maintaining CRS credentials, and helping patients articulate goals, overcome barriers, and pursue holistic recovery with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintains Certified Recovery Specialist credential.
• Self-identify as a current or former patient.
• Must be able to drive and have a valid license; travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in articulating personal goals for recovery.
• Assist patients in determining reasonable steps toward recovery.
• Assist patients in identifying barriers to recovery goals.
• Assist patients in identifying personal strengths in daily living and recovery skills.
• Observe and reinforce positive progress toward recovery goals.
• Teach problem-solving skills and strategies to cope with challenges.
• Support patients in career and social integration as they pursue jobs and social activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with patients.
