Job summary

MedMark Treatment Center is seeking a Full Time Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) to provide behavioral health services and foster peer relationships for clients in recovery. The CPRS uses personal recovery experience to offer hope, engages with community resources, and supports goal attainment while documenting encounters and outcomes.

The CPRS will report to the Treatment Center Director, participate in meetings, and promote a culture of recovery within and outside the center.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to utilize personal recovery experience to support others in treatment.
• Knowledge of local resources to assist patients in achieving goals.

Responsibilities

• Act as an integral member of the MedMark Treatment Centers Team.
• Share personal recovery experiences to build hope among clients.
• Engage with community resources and referrers to support enrollment.
• Document encounter notes and reports accurately for program measures.
• Coordinate with treatment staff on patient planning and goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies and HIPAA.
