Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) to provide peer support services and act as a patient advocate in emergency, outpatient, or inpatient settings. You will help patients articulate goals, identify barriers, and support recovery processes with a focus on compassionate, nonjudgmental care.

The role requires maintaining CRS credentials, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 50% to meet patient needs across settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintains Certified Recovery Specialty credential via PA Certification Board.
• Self-identify as a current or former patient.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to drive for company purposes; ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in articulating personal goals for recovery.
• Assist patients in determining reasonable steps toward recovery.
• Identify barriers to recovery goals.
• Support patients in developing daily living and recovery skills.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and professional boundaries.
• Attend team meetings and document requirements accurately.
