CleanSlate is hiring a Certified Recovery Specialist to provide peer-based recovery support in a daytime, full-time role in Scranton, PA.
The CRS will build rapport with patients, offer emotional and informational support, and collaborate with our treatment team to connect patients with resources and services in the community.

The Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) provides non-clinical, peer-based recovery support services to CleanSlate patients. They will establish a relationship and rapport with the patient in their recovery journey by drawing from their own experience with a substance use disorder and recovery. In addition, they will provide emotional, mental, and informational support and companionship to patients recovering in the context of the community and connecting to relevant resources is essential. The CRS will conduct assertive outreach to engage new individuals into care. In addition, they will work collaboratively with the CleanSlate treatment team and community partners to ensure cohesive patient care. The CRS will also assess each new patient for strengths, challenges, needs and barriers; seeking to understand patient's long-term goals and desired future state and supports in planning action steps to get there.
