Job summary

Capable Without Conditions is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct care, supervision, and behavioral support within a Community Crisis Home in California. You will implement individualized behavior support plans and collect data under supervision of qualified clinicians, ensuring compliance with Title 17 and Title 22 regulations.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, crisis management ability, and commitment to person-centered care in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass DOJ/FBI background clearance.
• Community Care Licensing criminal record clearance.
• Valid California driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and acceptable driving record.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Minimum six (6) months experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
• Current RBT certification issued by the BACB and maintained in good standing.
• Minimum three (3) months experience implementing behavior intervention strategies under their RBT certification.
• Must complete DSP-1 and DSP-2 training within one year of hire.
• Must complete crisis intervention training (such as CPI, Uk er u, or other approved methods).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, supervision, and behavioral support to individuals in a Community Crisis Home.
• Implement individualized behavior support plans and collect behavioral data.
• Ensure compliance with Title 17/Title 22 regulations and organizational policies.
