Job summary

Capable Without Conditions, LLC seeks an Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct care and behavioral support in a Community Crisis Home in California. You will implement tailored behavior plans, collect data, and work under supervision of licensed clinicians to ensure compliant, person-centered care.

Requirements include an RBT certification, a CA driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, and background clearances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass DOJ/FBI background clearance and licensing checks.
• Valid California driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Minimum six months experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
• Current RBT certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and maintained in good standing.
• Minimum three months experience implementing behavior intervention strategies under RBT certification.
• Must complete DSP-1 and DSP-2 training within one year of hire.
• Must complete crisis intervention training (CPI, Ukeru, or other approved methods).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervise individuals in a Community Crisis Home.
• Implement individualized behavior support plans and collect data.
• Comply with Title 17 and Title 22 California regulations.
• Maintain person-centered and respectful care in all interactions.
• Respond to behavioral or medical emergencies promptly and safely.
• Participate in required trainings and certifications.
• Ensure safety and reporting per mandated reporter requirements.
