Job summary

Bon Secours St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under supervision, ensuring patient safety and imaging quality with ionizing radiation.

The role requires ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification, BLS, and 1 year radiology experience or relevant exposure; EPIC EHR/PACS experience is preferred. This is an on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from ARRT accredited institute (preferred).
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• State Licensure (preferred, unless required by state).
• BLS Basic Life Support (required at hire for some locations; preferred prior to independent patient care).
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred).
• Experience with Radiology Information System (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and lab work documented for licensed practitioner.
• Positions and immobilizes patient for radiographic procedures.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Operates imaging equipment to perform procedures.
• Verifies informed consent and completes documentation.
• Assists licensed practitioner with procedures; maintains aseptic technique.
