Job summary

Onco360, a Scottsdale, AZ-based specialty pharmacy, seeks a certified Pharmacy Technician for our Inbound Phone Support team. This is a full-time remote opportunity after an onsite training period.

Starting salary is $21.00 per hour and up with a $3.00/hour weekend differential. A $5,000 sign-on bonus applies to employees starting before December 28, 2026. Benefits include 401k match, PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, life and disability insurance, floating holiday and referral incentives.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medications commonly used.
• Ability to coordinate multiple requests and data entry accurately.
• Experience handling patient and provider inquiries by phone.
• Familiarity with insurance processes and prior authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist health care providers and patients by phone, answering questions and requests.
• Coordinate medication refill deliveries with patients and physician offices.
• Work with insurance companies regarding rejected claims and prior authorizations.
• Serve as primary contact for calls to patients and physicians.
• Maintain accurate records and document interactions in the CRM system.

Our specialty pharmacy is located inScottsdale, AZ. This is a full time,remote opportunity - after onsite training period.

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:30am to 5pm MST in spring/summer,with shift to9:30am to 6pm MST in fall/winter

As a member of our Inbound Phone Support team, you will:

• Assist health care providers and patients by phone; answering questions and requests.


• Communicate with patients and physician office staff to coordinate medication refill deliveries.


• Work with Insurance companies regarding rejected claims and prior authorizations.


• Serve as a primary contact for calls to patients and physicians.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and Roman numeral), brand and generic names of medications and general pharmacy terminology

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

Required experience:

• Pharmacy Technician: 1+ years

Desired license or certification:
