Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with preferred pharmacy-related certification.
• Experience with pharmacy software and POS systems is advantageous.
• Ability to follow policies, handle cash accurately, and protect patient information.

Responsibilities

• Assist in triaging, processing and delivering prescriptions to patients.
• Run cash register and answer telephones as needed.
• Support inventory control, ordering, receiving and cycle counts.
• Ensure a pharmacist checks every prescription prior to dispensing.
• Assist in third-party claim submission and resolution.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
