Job summary

Home Life Healthcare Corp. Morristown, VT is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to assist our professional staff with triage, processing and delivery of prescriptions, and to help manage inventory and third-party receivables.

You will learn our pharmacy management and POS systems, handle cash and phones, follow the Quality Assurance Policy, and ensure every prescription is checked by a pharmacist before dispensing. Prior hospital or retail pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: AS degree or higher.
• PTCB or equivalent certification encouraged.
• Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in triaging, processing and delivering prescriptions.
• Run cash register and answer phones.
• Learn and operate pharmacy management and POS systems with urgency.
• Ensure every prescription is checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing.
• Assist with third-party claims submission and resubmission.
• Inventory management including ordering, receiving, returns and cycle counts.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow all company policies.
