Job summary

Medix is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for a digital pharmacy platform based in Missouri. This in-person role is located in Chesterfield, MO (63017) with standard Monday–Friday shifts, plus one Saturday a month.

Responsibilities include data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions, handling provider communications, and assisting with issue resolution across departments.

Qualifications

• PTCB or NHA (ExCPT) certification required prior to joining.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician license required or willing to obtain before start date.

Available Shift Options:

• Monday - Friday (10 AM - 6 PM CST)
• Monday - Friday (11 AM - 7 PM CST)
• Monday - Friday (12 PM - 8 PM CST)
• 1 Saturday shift a month (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST)

Requirements:

• PTCB or NHA (ExCPT) certification required prior to joining
• License: Must hold an active Missouri Pharmacy Technician license or be willing to obtain and have it approved prior to the start date.

Responsibilities:

• Data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions
• Handle provider/physician communications including, but not limited to voicemails, outbound and inbound calls
• Accepts inbound provider calls through warm transfers, ensuring call context is established prior to acceptance; patient calls are not currently part of this role
• Resolve open issues submitted by a variety of departments, including pharmacists, other technicians, and Incident Coordinator team
