Responsibilities include eRx data entry, workflow tracking, and coordination of HUB services to ensure patient access. Arizona license and CPhT are required along with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License.
• Active National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Experience in specialty HUB or non-dispensing pharmacy.
• Proficient in eRx intake, data entry and workflow management.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prescription Intake & Data Entry: process, review and enter electronic prescriptions (eRx) with completeness checks.
• Workflow & Status Tracking: monitor real-time progress and daily/hourly reporting for visibility.
• System & Document Management: navigate pharmacy software and BI platforms to upload client files and images.
• Coordination & Collaboration: assist with transfers and HUB services to support patient access.
• Escalation & Compliance: route issues to the pharmacist when needed and ensure compliance.
• Quality Assurance: maintain audit-ready documentation per HIPAA and policies.

Salary: USD21 - USD23 per hour + Health, Vision, Dental

Medix is hiring for a Certified Pharmacy Technician with a large HUB services/specialty/patient access pharmacy organization! This is a HYBRID role (2 days a month in office), full time, and offers competive pay.

Location: Hybrid, Scottsdale Arizona 85255, Candidates must be able to work remotely but must have the ability to come to the Scottsdale, AZ office at least 2 days per month (specifically functioning on 8-hour shifts every other Thursday).

Pay: $21-$23/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM MST (sometimes may need to start as early as 7 AM depending on business needs) - Flexibility is key

Overview of Responsibilities (NOT limited to the following):

In this role, you will reliably own technician-level responsibilities, manage competing program priorities independently, and ensure seamless data entry and documentation. This is a full-time, hybrid position well-suited for a detail-oriented professional who excels in evolving healthcare environments and requires minimal day-to-day redirection.

• Prescription Intake & Data Entry: Efficiently process, review, and enter electronic prescriptions (eRx), performing first-pass completeness checks to catch missing data early.
• Workflow & Status Tracking: Monitor real-time progress across systems and manage daily/hourly reporting to maintain operational visibility.
• System & Document Management: Navigate fluidly between pharmacy software and business intelligence platforms to upload and sync critical client files and images.
• Coordination & Collaboration: Assist with prescription transfers, downstream pharmacy coordination, and administrative HUB services to support patient medication access.
• Escalation & Compliance: Recognize operational barriers or incomplete files, executing timely follow-through or routing issues to the pharmacist when appropriate.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain precise, audit-ready documentation according to regulatory standards (including HIPAA) and organizational policies.

Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License
• Active National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential through either the PTCB or NHA.
• Prior experience in a specialty pharmacy, HUB services environment, or non-dispensing pharmacy setup.
• Proven experience with electronic prescription (eRx) intake, data entry, and workflow management.
• High School Diploma or GED.
