Job summary

Medix is seeking a Pharmacy Technician responsible for data entry of prescriptions and managing provider communications. The role involves inbound/outbound calls and collaboration with pharmacists and technicians to resolve open issues.

It requires Missouri licensure or willingness to obtain it and PTCB/ExCPT certification. Shifts run CST, with one Saturday per month, and training on pharmacy software is provided.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician license or willingness to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions.
• Handle provider/physician communications, including voicemails and calls.
• Accept inbound provider calls through warm transfers.
• Resolve open issues involving pharmacists and technicians across departments.
