Position Summary:
Pharmacy Tech Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist. Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems. Fills medication carts on a daily basis. Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department. Repackages bulk medications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
License: Proof of current CPhT standing and Kentucky Board of Pharmacy Registration Required; Successful completion of the National Certification Examination by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technician (ICPT) required 6 months from date of hire/transfer
Minimum Work Experience Institutional pharmacy or medical experience Preferred
