Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System, part of Trinity Health, invites you to join our Pharmacy Team as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital.

You will assist the pharmacist with timely and accurate medication provision, prepare sterile and non-sterile products, and support inventory and billing. This part-time position offers day/evening shifts on a rotating schedule, with the potential for elevated compensation through our sterile compounding program and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure: Ohio Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification and active registration with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience: Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Skills: Effective communication skills.
• Skills: Aptitude in mathematics.
• Motivation: Desire to build career toward Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Establish a working identity with the Pharmacy Team and contribute to a positive culture.
• Prepare sterile products (including chemotherapy) using aseptic technique per regulatory standards.
• Prepare non-sterile products (including hazardous medication) per standards.
• Repackage bulk oral medications using Parata Systems and robots.
• Facilitate dispensing via Automated Dispensing Cabinets on patient care units.
• Assist in dispensing orders through the pharmacy inventory system and billing.
• Assist in inventory control and proper stock rotation, storage, and expiry dating.
