Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Registered Pharmacy Tech in CO (PHARMTECH:CO) is required.
• National PTCB certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Alert leadership to immediate problems requiring corrective action.
• Fill unit dose carts, floor stock, and medication orders accurately and promptly; deliver to patient care areas.
• Prepare IV admixtures using sterile technique.
• Prepare prescriptions for pharmacist review and dispensing.
• Check floor stock/stock for outdates and proper storage monthly.
• Screen inquiries and direct to pharmacist for accurate communication.
