Job summary

Cary Medical Center Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Technicians assist pharmacists with preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and supporting IV compounding to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a Maine pharmacy technician license, high school diploma or equivalent, and a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork. Schedule includes Full-Time / 36 hours, days 8a-5p.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; college courses desirable but not required.
• Active Maine Pharmacy Technician license.
• 2–3 years of pharmacy technician experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparing and distributing medications.
• Maintain medication inventory and restock medications.
• Compounding and mixing IV medications.
• Perform accurate dose calculations and labeling.
• Support department meetings and contribute to a safe patient care environment.
