Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified as a licensed pharmacy technician through a national program; maintain CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service in-store.
• Handle non-pharmacist inquiries and assist with prescription processing and insurance billing.
• Accept new written prescriptions and refills under supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient information for prescriptions.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing medications for dispensing.
• Prepare and affix labels and handle mailing of prescriptions.
• Manage insurance claims and third-party Billing troubleshooting.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and HIPAA compliance.
