Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to support members in achieving healthier, happier lives by building relationships and delivering education-driven training that aligns with the Life Time Brand.

You will develop comprehensive client programs, conduct fitness consultations, provide on-floor support, promote training services, document progress, and stay current with certifications to ensure safety and motivation across all workouts.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of personal training experience.
Certified personal trainer status required.
CPR and AED certification required.
Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
Ability to perform an aerobic activity for class duration and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Develops safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
Monitors clients during sessions on safe use of cardio, flexibility and strength equipment.
Reads, watches, and engages in required role training.
Conducts fitness consultations including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
Fulfills member service requirements such as fitness assessments and desk duties.
Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
Completes administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
Remains current on certifications and trends in the industry.
Delivers superior customer service to ensure members feel competent and connected.
Documents all aspects of client programming.
Maintains credentials and continuing education to progress through levels.
