Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Personal Trainer to help members achieve healthier lives by building relationships and delivering education and exceptional service.

You will design safe, professional training programs, conduct fitness consultations, monitor sessions, promote training services, and maintain certifications. This role emphasizes safety, education, and customer-focused support within our Life Time facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of personal training experience is preferred.
• Certified personal Trainer with CPR and AED certification.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.
• Monitors and instructs clients during personal training sessions on safe use of equipment.
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
• Completes administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
• Remains current on certifications and industry trends.
• Delivers superior customer service to ensure members feel competent and connected.
