Earn $17.61/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.
Position Details
The Certified Peer Specialist provides peer support to individuals, offers guidance and encouragement to help individuals take responsibility and actively participate in their own recovery, and serves as a mentor to promote hope and empowerment. They will provide expertise and consultation from a mental health perspective to the team concerning symptoms of mental illness, medication effects and side effects, treatment responses, and recovery experiences. This role collaborates with the team to foster a respectful, understanding, and supportive environment that emphasizes self-determination and shared decision-making in treatment planning.
